Gen. Smedley Butler: War is a Racket Independent jury's secret power

WHY NOT RE ELECT ANYONE? I will try and answer your question, but I don’t hold out much hope that you will be satisfied with the answer. Here is what you said: “When you say don't re-elect anyone, who are you suggesting we vote for? Please explain the alternative, other than vote for "the other guy." First I will give you my simple answer and then I will tell you why. I refuse to vote for anyone holding any office, because every one, with the exception of Ron (Dr. No) Paul is a liar and a traitor to his constitutions and to his country. Harsh words you may say and perhaps they are, but it is true. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land, which means there is no other law that can replace the Supreme Law. I know we can amend the Constitution, but passing a law does not do that; therefore if one votes for any law that violates the Constitution, that person has broken the law himself. I know this is a new idea to many people, but it is true nevertheless. The FreedomeIndex gives us the votes on 10 issues to show how congress voted on these ten clear cut Constitution issues. Ron Paul was the only one that scored 100%. One person scored 90%, but 10% of the time he betrayed his country and broke the law, this means he committed a crime; and anyone that commits a crime does not deserve to be re-elected to office, because he cannot be trusted. You may have heard the expression, “Lie to me once, shame on you; lie to me twice, shame on me.” I believe that and that is the reason why I will not vote to re-elect anyone. I refuse to re-elect them, because they have not earned the right to be re-elected. I simply do not believe in rewarding criminals for committing a crime, even ONE crime I am 83 years old and I have been serving my country and fighting for its independence since 1943, when I joined the navy. When I got out of the navy, I discovered that I had not been fighting for my countries independence, but to line the pockets of our un-elected rulers. In wars the rich get richer and the poor get poorer and the only ones to benefit are the filthy rich. I will stop here and repeat what we have said before, “We do not care how much money a man makes, just as long as he makes it honestly and does not use his money to suppress other, but, in most instances, that is what the rich do with their money. The rest of us receive nothing for all the sacrifices that we made. At Okinawa, I saw 65 of my shipmates killed in an attack by 5 Jap suicide planes, so I know of what I speak. You can read a portion of Marine Gen. Smedley Butler’s book on this web site at http://aclean-sweep.com, where he says the same thing. My first political, battle after I was discharged following the Korean police action, was in defence of Wisconsin’s senator Joseph McCarthy. McCarthy was trying to expose and force all the communist out of their government position. McCarthy was sternly opposed by President Harry Truman, most Democrats and Republicans in office and by the major media. This was the first time, that I knew something was very wrong in America. Since that time, I have proved that I was right; the government is run by criminals and traitors in both major political parties. Over the years we have seen the major media, which, as you must know is completely in the hands of the enemy. O, I know about Fox News, but I also know all about Rupert Murdoch. Murdoch owned the most liberal newspaper in Australia, when he came to America. Suddenly he has enough money to buy everything is sight and pass his network off as a conservative network and most of the so-called conservatives fell for his line and believes that he is one of them, I say THEM, because I am not one of the modern day conservatives. His backers are the Rothschilds of Europe, Bronfman’s of Canada and Rockefeller’s of the US, using Federal Reserve Bank notes and charging us interest on the money. We all know who they are and where they stand. Murdoch and most of the people on Fox News network are Judas goats, with few, if any exceptions. The same can be said of the Washington Times, which is owned by Sun Myung Moon, the Korean cult leader, who is backed by the same people. Years ago, the major media and all their lackeys began to use the expression, “I voted for the lesser of two evils”, and they are satisfied that they did their best. I refused to go along with that idea. Evil is evil and no sane person should have anything to do with those who commit evil works, like violating their oath to uphold the Constitution. As you probably know; when a person fails in business he is fired from his job and another replaces him. If the person owns the business and fails, he goes broke, the results is the same in both cases. But it does not work that way in government. We all know: at least those playing with a full deck that this government has failed and has done a miserable job over the last 150 years. Do we kick them out of office for failing? NO! We re-elect them year after year, until people like Ted Kennedy is re-elected to the senate to the senate seven times; and he has voted for every bad piece of legislation that came along. Go to his government web site and he will tell you what a wonderful job he has done for his state and the nation. Some one will say, a man that votes right 80% of the time is better then a man that only votes right 20% of the time; and that might satisfy some people, but it does not satisfy us. Suppose the 20% vote is to strangle freedom of speech and confiscate our guns, would you still say that is alright. NO! Most of us would be in an uproar and we would be right in doing so. No, it is best to be 100% right like Con. Ron Paul. Paul proves that a person can be right all the time. There is no excuse for breaking the law and we will not vote for anyone that does, no matter what anybody thinks of him, because such a person cannot be trusted to do right ALL the time. We repeat to your question: we will vote for anyone else but an incumbent that has lied to the people and violated the LAW the Constitution of the United States. Remember: that person took an oath to obey the Constitution. In a court of law, one can go to the slammer for lying under oath and we believe the same thing should apply to a politician that lies under oath. Please tell me there is a difference and do so with a straight face. –James Patrick Hart III for ACLEAN-SWEEP.COM
